Vision boarding is a powerful way to gain clarity about what you want in life and attune yourself to more fluidly follow the clues that lead you towards it. In this workshop we will use the principles of creative visualisation to manifest more beauty, alignment and abundance in your life.
Starting with ceremonial cacao served by Tiff, our morning together will be an invitation to move out of the thinking mind and into the deepest desires of the heart and soul. Tiff will also be sharing on the ritual of creating a Home Altar - a complementary practice to support your vision in coming to life.
What is vision boarding?
From a practical point of view, vision boarding primes our reticular activating system to notice more of what we want. The Reticular Activating System (RAS) is a bundle of nerves at our brainstem that filters out unnecessary information so the important stuff gets through. The RAS is the reason you learn a new word and then start hearing it everywhere, or buy a new car and then start seeing that car everywhere.
If you have a clear, aligned vision, your RAS will reveal the people, information and opportunities that help you achieve them. The Law of Attraction doesn’t seem so mystical when we understand that our mental attention is influencing our experience of the world around us.
A Tantric approach to manifestation
Drawing on ancient tantric techniques for manifestation, Anna will guide us into connection with the vijnanamaya kosha - our wisdom body. This aspect of the Self is beyond mind. It's the part of us we access when we are daydreaming, or drifting off to sleep, when we are imagining or being resourceful in coming up with creative solutions to our problems, or when we are in spiritual communion.
Through visualisation and mantra we will begin to tap into this deep wisdom and allow this to inform the vision board we create. We let go of the life we were planning in order to reveal the endless possibilities that await in our future.
