Tea said to me

Tea: “Hello again”

Me: “Much has happened since I last saw you”

Tea: “It’s only been one day. Tell me.”

Me: “I didn’t do everything I promised I would, in the morning I judged and in the afternoon I criticised. I spoke when I needed to listen and sometimes when I spoke my tongue was sharp and then just as I’ve been dreading, something I love began to slip through my fingers and I couldn’t hold on and I feel I’ve made a terrible mistake.”

Tea: “...and is that all?”

Me: “That’s all”

Tea: “Well it seems we’re still here together, so sip quietly now and tell me tomorrow of how these lessons have grown your heart”
